Adam Stasiw

Software Engineer, Scientist, Artist

Below are some of my past performances!

My personal favorite is the recording of “Superhighway”: my very own original work of software-powered dance theater. Using a Kinect camera and some custom deep learning software (along with some fun code in Processing and SuperCollider), I generated music and visual projections in real-time. Ultimately, this show -- performed at Dixon Place in the fall of 2016 — was a meditation on togetherness, technology, and the strange realities of coexisting.

As an artist, I’ve had the great joy of performing in a variety of theater, dance, and vocal performances. Some of my favorite performances have been at various incredible locations such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and The Apollo Theater.

I’m a former member of NYC’s Khorikos choir, and currently Secretary of the Board of the group’s non-profit parent company.

While an undergraduate at Princeton, I performed in over 25 productions. These included 4 shows with the Princeton Triangle Club (where I’m also currently a trustee of the non-profit board), world tours with the Princeton Nassoons, and a week-long run of Assassins at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I also danced in original works by Raja Feather Kelly, Rebecca Lazier, Laura Peterson, and Susan Marshall.
